Co-founder, Administrator, Primary Core Team MemberMary Beth resides in Cuyahoga Falls and has been a parishioner at Immaculate Heart of Mary for 20+ years. She was married for 32 years to a wonderful man, Pete, who passed away on October 29, 2019, after a short bout with cancer. Mary Beth and Pete have 6 amazing sons, 3 beautiful daughters-in-law, and 5 grandchildren. After having an intimate encounter with the Lord on Pentecost in 2011, she was called to co-found Peter's Shadow in Feb of 2016 at which time the Lord told her in prayer to "Be docile and allow Me to lead." Since then, she has pledged to be radically available and radically obedient to all the Lord calls her to. Mary Beth is always in awe of how the Lord uses this ministry. It is an honor and a pleasure to serve the Lord in this way and bring healing to this broken world.
Co-founder, Administrator, Primary Core Team MemberMike Ragon is a 1964 graduate of Central Catholic HS in Canton, Ohio. While attending Walsh University, Mike was called into the US Army in the fall of 1965 during the build up for the Vietnam War. Mike enlisted and went to school at Ft Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis before being sent to Germany for two years. His oldest son, Michael Jr was born in Germany. Upon returning from the service Mike went to work for his father in the electric motor industry. After 20 years at Ragon Electric, and two more sons, Christopher and Jason, Mike began a career with the National Federation of Independent Business. There he spent 23 years calling on independent business owners, seeking their support for the efforts of the NFIB to stay the hand of government. During this time a fourth son, Luke, came along. Mike's sons are his only pride.
He has been involved in charismatic prayer groups, Cursillo, and has been a lector and and Extraordinary Minster of Holy Communion, and a daily Mass attendee for 40 years. In 2017 he met up with Mary Beth Garvin and Barb Heath and the healing ministry of Peter's Shadow was born. Mike's number one goal is to see the Catholic people he meets become "alive" in their faith. All healing is evangelistic and all evangelization is healing. Jesus healed while He was on earth, He still heals today. Mike wants to see people, especially Catholics, free in Christ.
